At our September 17 club meeting, Peter Gatehouse will present a  program on “Tin Can Mail”, this is an early and interesting example of the difficulties of sending and delivering the mails in remote locations!   There will also be a bidboard with some good stuff.

Our meetings are also accessible by Zoom.  Write to salemstampsociety@gmail.com several days before the meeting for the Zoom invitation.

With heavy heart, we report the passing of our beloved member lucien Klein.  His funeral service will be held at 11am on Saturday September 6  at the First Presbyterian Church, 950 N. Boones Ferry Rd in Woodburn.

Our Fall STAMPEX takes place on Sunday September 21 at the Scottish Rite Center on Commercial St S in Salem. The show hours are 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; Gary Tiffin reports that he has a full comple ment of dealers attending.  See the full list on our Shows tab.

Tell Lisa Janz if you are willing to provide a "Frame of the Month" at one of our meetings.

To contact the leaders of the club, address your email to salemstampsociety@gmail.com.  That mailbox is checked frequently, and emails received are forwarded to an appropriate person.  Of course, members can use the email addresses in their membership directory.

See the calendar of programs for 2025 in the box to the left below.
